قال المتحدث باسم الاتحاد الأوروبي في فلسطين، شادي عثمان، إنهم مستمرون في مناقشة ملف إقرار ميزانية الدعم المالي للسلطة الفلسطينية، وسيتم الاعلان عنها خلال الفترة القليلة المقبلة.
وأوضح عثمان في تصريح صحفي اليوم الاثنين، أن يُجرى نقاش داخل الاتحاد لمعرفة اقرار الميزانية لدعم السلطة وتفاصيلها، لافتًا إلى أن الإجراءات معقدة.
وكان الاتحاد الأوروبي يُخصص عادةً 300 مليون يورو سنوياً للفلسطينيين، 100 مليون منها تذهب لوكالة غوث وتشغيل اللاجئين “الأونروا”، و200 مليون على شكل مشاريع ودعم مباشر لخزينة السلطة الفلسطينية.
ويشار الى ان جزء من ميزانية الاتحاد الاوروبي المقدمة للسلطة هي مقدمة لمخصصات الشؤون الاجتماعية “الفقراء” التي ينتظرها منذ عام كامل .
