Teaching Vacancy
The British International School in Gaza is seeking a highly qualified and experienced individual to fill the position of English Language and Literature Teacher, and a full time Math teaching position. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching students in both the British and American tracks and must possess strong abilities in preparing and delivering engaging and effective lessons.

The school operates a rigorous curriculum, and all teachers are expected to maintain strict adherence to it, while also differentiating instruction to meet the needs of students at multiple grade levels. English is the official language of the school, and all subjects except Arabic Language, Religion, and Palestinian History are taught in English.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
– A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in the required subject or related field, with a Master’s degree preferred.
– A certificate in TEFL, TESL, or TESOL is desirable.
– A Diploma in Education is preferable.
– A minimum of three years of proven experience in a high-level teaching institution is desirable.

All candidates must have a current and valid certificate for one of the English as a Second Language tests, with the required minimum score (TOEFL PBT minimum score of 550, TOEFL iBT minimum score of 79, IELTS minimum score of 6.5).

Engineering majors with math majors and/or math teaching majors are encouraged to apply
