تراجع ثروات مليارديرات العالم
ذكر تقرير لمؤسسة يو.بي.إس للخدمات المالية أن ثروات أثرى أثرياء العالم انخفضت قليلا في العام الماضي بسبب التوترات الجيوسياسية وتقلبات أسواق الأسهم لأول مرة منذ عام 2015.
وبحسب التقرير، تراجعت ثروات مليارديرات العالم بمقدار 388 مليار دولار إلى 8.539 تريليون دولار. وشهدت منطقة الصين الكبرى انخفاض في الثروات، وهي ثاني أكبر مركز للمليارديرات بعد الولايات المتحدة، ومنطقة آسيا والمحيط الهادي على نطاق أوسع.
وتأثرت بنوك خاصة منها بنك يو.بي.إس، بالتوترات التجارية بين الولايات المتحدة والصين والتقلبات السياسية العالمية حيث نأى العملاء في العام الماضي بأنفسهم عن التداول وأدوات الدين وفضلوا ادخار المزيد من السيولة.
وبين التقرير أن ثروة أثرى أثرياء الصين الصافية انخفضت 12.8 بالمئة بالدولار الأمريكي على خلفية اضطراب أسواق الأسهم وضعف العملة المحلية وتباطؤ ثاني أكبر اقتصاد عالمي إلى أقل مستوى منذ نحو ثلاثة عقود في 2018 مما أبعد العشرات من قائمة المليارديرات.
بدوره، قال رئيس وحدة صافي الثروات في مؤسسة يو.بي.إس جوزيف ستادلر إنه على الرغم من هذا الانخفاض، لا يزال يظهر بالصين ملياردير جديد كل يومين أو كل يومين ونصف اليوم.
