أعلن الفنان والمقاول محمد علي طرح وثيقة تتضمن بنودا حول رؤية المعارضة بأطيافها المختلفة لمستقبل مصر.

- وقال علي إنه سيعرض الوثيقة على الشعب المصري لأخذ رأيه حولها وبذلك يصبح شريكا في صناعة القرار وبناء بلده، على حد وصفه.
- أثار ظهور محمد علي قبل شهور ردود فعل واسعة في مصر إثر اتهامات فساد وجهها للرئيس المصري عبد الفتاح السيسي.
- ووجدت دعوة وجهها علي للتظاهر في سبتمبر/أيلول الماضي استجابة قوية وشهدت مصر مظاهرات نادرة ضد السيسي منذ توليه مقاليد السلطة في عام 2014.
- اعتقلت سلطات الأمن المصرية خلال تلك المظاهرات الآلاف، واتخذت الحكومة المصرية إجراءات متعلقة بالسلع التموينية وتوزيعها قالت إنها لرفع المعاناة عن الشعب.
