بيكهام: مونديال قطر 2022 سيكون استثنائياً
قال اللاعب الإنجليزي الأسطوري ديفيد بيكهام أنه على يقين تام بأن دولة قطر ستستضيف نسخة استثنائية من بطولة كأس العالم FIFA لكرة القدم، والتي من شأنها أن تكون مصدر إلهام للأجيال القادمة. جاء هذا التصريح خلال زيارة قام بها النجم الكروي بيكهام إلى استاد المدينة التعليمية. وقد رافق بيكهام خلال الجولة سعادة السيد حسن عبدالله الذوادي، الأمين العام للجنة العليا للمشاريع والإرث.
وخلال زيارته إلى الاستاد والتي تتزامن مع موعد المباراة النهائية من مونديال قطر بعد ثلاثة أعوام، قال نجم مانشستر يونايتد السابق، وريال مدريد، وإيه سي ميلان، ولوس أنجيلوس جالاكسي، وباريس سان جيرمان أن بطولة كأس العالم FIFA قطر 2022™ تمثل حلماً للاعبين والمشجعين والزوار بفضل مرافق البطولة الحديثة وطبيعتها التي تناسب كافة أفراد العائلة.
وقال بيكهام، الذي يزور قطر لمتابعة مباريات بطولة كأس العالم للأندية FIFA قطر 2022™: “أرى أن أي مشجع ولاعب يتطلع لحضور بطولة كأس العالم لكرة القدم في قطر في استادات مميزة، والاستمتاع بكل ما ستقدمه الدولة من امتيازات لكافة الزوار، والإقامة في بلد يزخر بثقافة وأصالة عريقة”.
وأضاف بيكهام: “أتمنى لو كنت لاعباً حتى اليوم، إن المشاركة في بطولة كأس العالم لكرة القدم وخوض مباريات في استادات مميزة كتلك التي في قطر تعتبر فرصة قيمة وحلماً يسعى أي لاعب لتحقيقه خلال مشواره الرياضي. ينتظر اللاعبون تجربة رياضية مبهرة في قطر بحلول عام 2022”.
وفي كلمة له خلال زيارة بيكهام لاستاد المدينة التعليمية، شكر سعادة السيد حسن عبدالله الذوادي، الأمين العام للجنة العليا للمشاريع والإرث النجم الكروي بيكهام على زيارته، وقال: “تشرفنا بحضور ديفيد إلى قطر وسعدنا بزيارته إلى استاد المدينة التعليمية. كما سعدنا بإعجابه في كافة تحضيراتنا للبطولة وتشوقه للحدث الكروي الذي يقام لأول مرة في الشرق الأوسط والوطن العربي. أتطلع إلى رؤية ديفيد مجدداً في الأعوام القادمة نحو الطريق لاستضافة المونديال الكروي عام 2022”.
وتحدث بيكهام، الذي شارك في 115 مباراة دولية مع منتخب إنجلترا، عن أهمية استضافة بطولة كأس العالم لكرة القدم في قارات ودول مختلفة قائلاً: “إن إعطاء مختلف الدول فرصة لاستضافة الحدث الكروي الأكبر يُجسد الهدف الرئيسي من هذه البطولة العالمية. إن لهذه البطولة القدرة على إحداث تغييرات في القطاع الاقتصادي والاجتماعي للدولة المُضيفة، علاوة على أنها تُتيح للزوار والمشجعين فرصة زيارة دول جديدة واكتشاف معالمها الجغرافية والسياحية. وأرى أن استضافة المونديال في قطر تُعطي الدولة فرصة قيمة لاكتشاف إمكانياتها وتطويرها ثم استثمارها في استضافة النسخة القادمة من البطولة الكروية المنتظرة”.
وعن رأيه في التطور الذي تشهده قطر خلال الأعوام السابقة استعداداً لاستضافة المونديال، قال بيكهام الذي يزور قطر بانتظام: “تشهد دولة قطر تطوراً ملحوظاً في كافة الأصعدة، وأرى أن اهتمام دولة قطر في استضافة بطولة تُلائم كافة أفراد العائلة هو أمر هام للاعبين والمشجعين القادمين من مختلف أنحاء العالم. وبرأيي، سيكون مونديال قطر حدثاً رياضياً مُذهلاً يترقبه العالم بفارغ الصبر عام 2022”.
وقال بيكهام، الذي فاز بـ 19 كأساً خلال مسيرته التي استمرت لمدة 20 عاماً، أرى أن بطولة قطر 2022 ستكون مصدر إلهامٍ لشباب قطر، والمنطقة والعالم أجمع. وأضاف: “سيشهد أطفال قطر مشاركة منتخبهم الوطني في بطولة كأس العالم لكرة القدم، وهو ما سيُشكل مصدر إلهام لهم وسيشجعهم على انتهاج هذا الطريق لتحقيق إنجازات رياضية لهم ولدولتهم”.
