استبدل عروسان من مخيم المغازي وسط قطاع غزة، المصاريف والتكاليف التي رصداها لاتمام فرحهما، بتوزيعها على شكل مساعدات عينية على العوائل الفقيرة في القطاع، وذلك نظراً للظروف الصعبة التي يعيشها السكان في القطاع مع استمرار الحصار وانتشار فيروس كورونا.
وفوجئ العديد من المواطنين بقيام عريس وعروسته وهما يتنقلان في سيارة مزينة، يوزعان طرود غذائية ومواد تنظيف في يوم زفافهما على العوائل الفقيرة والمحتاجة.
وأجبرت ظروف فيروس كورونا العريس عبد الرحمن حمدان وعروس، على إلغاء حفل زفافهما والحفل الخاص بالسهرة الشبابية والعائلية، ولكنهما حولا تلك المصاريف التي تم توفيرها لتوزيع مساعدات عينية على العوائل الفقيرة، ما حظي باشادة واسعة وأدخل الفرحة منازل عشرات العائلات في مخيم المغازي.
ومنذ بداية انتشار الفيروس وظهور عدة اصابات في قطاع غزة، لجأت الجهات الحكومية إلى اتخاذ إجراءات حاسمة لمنع انتشار الفيروس، منها إغلاق صالات الأفراح ومنع الحفلات في الشوارع، منعًا لاختلاط المواطنين.
