أعلن الدكتور طلال ناصر الدين رئيس صندوق وقفة عز، اليوم الثلاثاء 2 يونيو 2020، أنهم بصدد صرف 15 مليون شيكل بواقع 500 شيكل لحوالي 30 ألف أسرة من العائلات المتضررة بفيروس كورونا في فلسطين خلال الأيام المقبلة.
وأضاف ناصر الدين في تصريحات لإذاعة صوت فلسطين، أن ما تم جمعه حتى الآن في صندوق وقفة عز 61 مليون شيكل، منوهًا إلى أنهم كانوا يأملون أن تصل قيمة التبرعات إلى 80 مليون شيكل، لتغطية أكبر عدد ممكن من الأسر المحتاجة.
ولفت ناصر الدين إلى أنهم قاموا بتحويل مبالغ من الصندوق لمستشفيات القدس ، لافتًا إلى أنه سيتم استكمال باقي إرسال الدفعات قبل نهاية الأسبوع الجاري.
وحول إمكانية صرف دفعات أخرى جديدة، أوضح أنه بقدر الزيادة التي يحصلون عليها بالصندوق سيتم الصرف.
وأشار إلى أنهم ما زالوا يستقبلون التبرعات، آملا أن يستفيد من الصندوق أكبر قدر ممكن من الأسر خلال الفترة المقبلة.
وبخصوص المستفيدين من مخصصات الصرف الجديدة، أوضح أنها ستكون للأسر المعوزة والمتضررة من خلال القوائم التي حصلوا عليها من وزارة التنمية الاجتماعية، منوهًا إلى أن العمال المتضررين استفاد 40 ألف منهم خلال الدفعة الماضية.
وقال رئيس صندوق وقفة عز أنهم بصدد دراسة قوائم الأسر المحتاجة، بهدف اختيار أكثرها حاجة لتكون بالدفعة القادمة، ليتم بعدها تحديد الموعد الرسمي لصرف الدفعة المالية. وفق قوله
