على ضوء ما تم نشره في عدد من وسائل الإعلام حول نسبة رواتب الوزراء وصرف نثرية للوزراء، نود التأكيد على الآتي :
1- يتم صرف رواتب الوزراء وفقاً لقانون مكافآت ورواتب أعضاء المجلس التشريعي وأعضاء الحكومة والمحافظين رقم (11) لسنة 2004 بواقع 3000 دولار ويصرف بالشيكل وغير مربوط بجدول غلاء المعيشة كباقي موظفي الدولة، ولم تتم أي زيادة على رواتبهم منذ عام 1994.
2- لم يتم صرف مبلغ 15,000 دولار الذي تنص عليه المادة رقم (14) من ذات القانون وذلك بدل تحسين أوضاع تصرف لمرة واحدة عند تعيينه لأي من الوزراء في الحكومة الحالية.
3- في العام 2019 تم تشكيل لجنة من قبل سيادة الرئيس لتصويب رواتب ومستحقات كبار موظفي الدولة ومن في حكمهم بعضوية (وزير المالية، المستشار القانوني لرئيس الدولة، وزير العدل، رئيس هيئة التقاعد، رئيس ديوان الموظفين العام، مدير عام الصندوق القومي الفلسطيني)، وقد أتمت اللجنة مهام عملها وقامت برفع توصياتها لفخامة السيد الرئيس الى أنه ونتيجة للأوضاع المالية لم يتم اتخاذ أي قرار بالخصوص.
4- اية امتيازات اخرى يتقاضاها الوزراء او المحافظين او رؤساء الاجهزة الامنية تصرف وفقاً لأحكام النظام المالي المعمول به، وهي لا تحسب ضمن الراتب الخاضع للتقاعد.
واخيراً تؤكد الوزارة بأنه نتيجة للأوضاع المالية الحالية فان ما يطبق على رواتب موظفي الدولة يسري على رواتب الوزراء حيث يتم صرف 80% من الراتب لهم أسوة بباقي موظفي الدولة.
