مجدلاني يكشف حقيقة وجود مفاوضات مع “إسرائيل” لاستخراج الغاز من شواطئ غزة
نفت السلطة الفلسطينية، اليوم الأحد، وجود مفاوضات مع إسرائيل لاستخراج الغاز من شواطئ قطاع غزة، مؤكدة أن ما يجري تداوله بهذا الشأن عار عن الصحة.
وقال عضو اللجنة التنفيذية لمنظمة التحرير الفلسطينية وزير التنمية الاجتماعية، أحمد مجدلاني، إنه “لا يوجد في الوقت الحالي أي مفاوضات مع إسرائيل بشأن استخراج الغاز من شواطئ غزة”.
وأضاف مجدلاني أنه “بالأساس لا يوجد أي مفاوضات من أي نوع مع إسرائيل”، مشيرًا إلى أن القيادة الفلسطينية تجري حاليًا مباحثات مع الإدارة الأمريكية بشأن العلاقات بين الجانبين بعيدًا عن العلاقة بالإسرائيليين.
ولفت إلى أنه “يجري الحديث مع الأمريكيين على إعادة فتح القنصلية الأمريكية في القدس الشرقية، وإعادة فتح مكتب منظمة التحرير الفلسطينية في واشنطن، إلى جانب المساعدات الأمريكية المباشرة وغير المباشرة للفلسطينيين”.
وذكر مجدلاني أنه “يجري بحث مجموعة من الملفات السياسية المتعلقة بالاعتراف بدولة فلسطين، والمساعي الفلسطينية للحصول على العضوية الكاملة في مجلس الأمن الدولي”.
وتابع: “لا يمكن الترويج لوجود أشياء جدية، ولكن هذه القضايا تمهد لفتح حوار استراتيجي مع واشنطن في العديد من القضايا”.
وكان تقرير لموقع “المونيتور” الأمريكي، نقلته صحيفة “معاريف” العبرية، قال إن “إسرائيل ستسمح للسلطة الفلسطينية باستخراج الغاز الطبيعي من حقل غاز (مارين) قبالة شواطئ غزة، وذلك عقب جهود مصرية بهذا الشأن”.
وأوضح التقرير الأمريكي أن “مصر تجري محادثات ثنائية وسرية منذ عدة أشهر، وأن الموافقة جاءت بعد سنوات من الاعتراضات الإسرائيلية على إنتاج الغاز الطبيعي قبالة سواحل غزة لأسباب أمنية”.
الجدير ذكره، أن حقل “مارين” يقع على بعد 30 كيلو مترًا غربي سواحل غزة، وتم اكتشافه عام 2000، ويحتوي على أكثر من 1 تريليون قدم مكعب من الغاز الطبيعي، وتقدر تكلفة تطويره بنحو 1.2 مليار دولار.
وفي شباط/فبراير من العام الماضي، وقعت السلطة الفلسطينية ومصر مذكرة تفاهم بشأن تطوير حقل “مارين”، وتم الاتفاق على أن يتم التعاون بين الشركة المصرية القابضة للغاز الطبيعي والسلطة الفلسطينية لتطوير حقل الغاز ونقل الغاز للمناطق الفلسطينية وربما بيعه لمصر.
