المنظمة الخيرية الإسلامية العالمية تتبرع بمبلغ 500,000 دولار لتقديم المعونة النقدية الطارئة للاجئي فلسطين في غزة
تبرعت المنظمة الخيرية الإسلامية الدولية بمبلغ 500,000 دولار لوكالة الأمم المتحدة لإغاثة وتشغيل اللاجئين الفلسطينيين في الشرق الأدنى (الأونروا) لتقديم معونات نقدية طارئة للاجئي فلسطين في غزة.
وذكرت أونروا في بيان لها تلقت منصة المتقدمون نسخة عنه، أن هذا التبرع على المساهمة في دعم عائلات لاجئي فلسطين في تلبية احتياجاتهم الإنسانية الأساسية من الغذاء والمأوى والصحة البيئية والتمتع بمستوى معيشي لائق والتمتع بحقوق الإنسان.
وأضافت “ستوفر الأونروا لما يقدر بحوالي 11,126 لاجئًا من فلسطين في قطاع غزة معونات نقدية للتخفيف من الصعوبات الاجتماعية والاقتصادية الإضافية بسبب الأزمة المستمرة”.
وأعرب توم وايت، مدير شؤون الأونروا في غزة عن شكره لهذا التبرع بالقول: “نود أن نعرب عن خالص امتناننا للمنظمة الخيرية الإسلامية العالمية لدعمها المتجدد للاجئي فلسطين في غزة”.
وقال: “إن هذا التبرع سيسمح للأونروا بالمساعدة في ضمان حياة أفضل وأكثر صحة لأطفال لاجئي فلسطين في غزة، على الرغم من العديد من التحديات والفقر الذي يمثله الحصار المستمر”.
وأضاف وايت: “إن الاحتياجات الإنسانية في أعلى مستوياتها على الإطلاق في قطاع غزة حيث تأثر السكان بشدة من جراء النزاعات الأخيرة مثلما عانوا أيضًا من تأثير فيروس كورونا والقيود ذات الصلة التي أتت إضافة إلى الحصار”.
